«Inauguration of 8000 ton press»

One of the largest European forge plant, the French company Forges de Courcelles, a branch of group SIFKOR, solemnly opened a new ultra-modern automated hot forging line on the basis of 8000 ton press made by TMP. The line of high productivity, designed for forging of crankshafts allowed "Forges de Courcelles" to become the largest supplier for the German and the French carmakers. Once again, the "Forges de Courcelles" chose the equipment brand of TMP, adding to its fleet with the seventh hot forging JSC "Tjazhmehpress" press. The representatives of the Voronezh plant were invited to the inauguration of the line, in which the Group Managing Director of SIFCOR Mr Jean Louis Degi and managing director Mr Philip forge Buzhon expressed gratitude to factory employees, as well as everyone who participated in the realization of this ambitious project.

APPRECIATION

In September of 2014 JSC «Tjazhmekhpress» has participated in annual metal forming fair «MetalForm China 2014». This big forum brought the representatives of the leading Chinese and world machine building and metallurgy companies, who produce the machinery and technology for all kinds of metal forming industry including press machinery for sheet metal stamping and hot forging, equipment for surface machining, foundry equipment, complete sets for lines and complexes.

The fair was visited by more than 25,000 people. Many of them stayed with interest at the boost of the Voronezh plant TMP.

During the fair, Chinese Confederation Metalworking Industry (CCMI) has awarded TMP plant with a special prize and diploma.

- This prize is the «Best hot forging press of the year» - the participant of the fair is telling, deputy chief design engineer Mr. Sergey Klimov, - it has been awarded for supply of two sets of unique 1400t capacity presses to China. One of them is for «Fuda» company (Guilin city), the second one is for the plant №518 (Dandun city). These presses are the only in the world, as no one produced such equipment before.

Before awarding the customers of TMP machinery have given positive feedback on the level of 14000t capacity presses as well as to TMP specialists who produces and launches this equipment to operation. They noted the best design solutions, reliability and high manufacturing quality of the machinery.

In the diploma TMP plant is named as the best supplier of forging machinery and 14000t capacity presses – «well-deserved, advanced, particularly recommended product».

I should add that in frame of the fair the talks have been hold with the potential customers of our machinery. Moreover prospective business contacts have been made. So Mr. Toru Tano, General manager of «Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd» (this is our competitor in the world market!) has examined our boost with great interest and expressed his admiration with 14000t capacity presses.

"Tjazhmekhpress" is 60 years!

 This year “Day of the “mechanician”- the professional holiday of press constructors, coincided with the 60 anniversary of the enterprise. TMP came in modern Russian history as plant with the large production, serious technical base, the advanced technologies and high personnel potential. It is a merit of several generations of pres constructors. It is necessary to remember that with the kind word those people who during hard post-war time, in half-ruined Voronezh built factory cases, who worked day and night. They could arrange production in short terms.

The first-ever press with capacity 16500 tf was released to anniversary of plant.

It is the real gift for a holiday and the evidence of high achievements of plant and its personal stuff.

There arrived guests from the different countries of the world and the different cities of Russia to congratulate TMP with anniversary. There are hundred people from twelve countries: China, India, Mexico, Brazil, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Serbia, Bosnia, Belarus, Ukraine visited us. In assembly hall they examined the huge press.

The governor of the Voronezh region congratulated plant workers with anniversary and informed that the collective of JSC “Tjazhmekhpress” is awarded by the medal "Gratitude of the Earth Voronezh" for achieved success in development of domestic engineering industry and in connection with the 60 anniversary.
 

The new equipment. One crank hot forging press,model K8052 with a nominal capacity of 16500 tf

 TMP produced the first in the world one crank hot forging press, model K8052 with nominal capacity of 16500 tf. It is intended for work as a part of the automated line for hot stamping of forgings, cranked shafts and beams of forward axis of the car in forge production of foreign firm.

This press belongs to the third generation of the hot forging presses. It is the unique representative of the forge and forming equipment not only in nominal capacity, but also on overall dimensions, mass of stamped forgings, and the main technical characteristics.

On the developing of this press applied a number of new design decisions, considered experience with operating of one crank hot forging press on domestic and foreign forge productions. Also, we used methods of computer modeling and calculations.

The press is intended for hot stamping of crank shaft weighing up to 240 kg and beams of forward axis up to 2200 mm long. Height of the press is 18 meters, weight is 2100 tons. We will use around 30 units of railway transport for its transportation.

The first press

 The monument of the first press model K265 with capacity 315 tf was established at the factory square. It was produced at the plant in 1953. The first press is still in working condition. It shows, that production of our plant is reliable and durable.

Forge Fair 2013

TMP was one of the many exhibitors of 2013 Forge Fair that took place in Columbus, Ohio, USA. The show is organized by the Forging Industry Association. FIA helps manufactures and suppliers with such issues as productivity improvement; public policy advocacy; driving demand for North American forgings and developing and transferring technology.
This year the show attracted the largest crowd ever: with nearly 50% more exhibit booth space, 30% more attendees and 30% more international participation than Forge Fair 2010! There was representation from most North American hot mills, forging, distributing, and machining industries, as well as a bigger number of international companies from Latin America, Asia and Europe.

It was a great chance to see old friends and partners as well as making new ones. Main take out: the economy is improving, and the market is shifting, opening opportunities for TMP.

The first press with capacity 12500 will be in Brazil!

Rollers for the company ThyssenKrupp AG became the first official delivery of our plant for Brazil in 2010. This year we put in operation the automated complex for hot stamping on the basis of the press with capacity 2500 tf the KI8044 models.

The complex is equipped with the German equipment: clam shell giving of DREHER and system of technological lubrication system GERLIEVA. It is necessary to tell that firm ThyssenKrupp AG is very exacting and serious customer. We attended all their requirements and accepted the equipment in operation.

Metallurgical market of Brazil it is not the only one plant ThyssenKrupp AG. Other producers of forgings are also watching progress of TMP in the Brazilian market. Inquiry of CINPAL CIA. INDUSTRIAL DE PECAS PARA AUTOMOVEIS (major Brazilian company) wasn't a surprise for us. It is a well known supplier of auto components and forgings weighing up to 60 kg and begins its history since 1950. The management of firm decided to get the press with capacity of 12500 tf and made an inquiry on our plant. The contract for delivery of presses with capacity 12500 tf of the K8551.02 model, the press for cutting and calibration with capacity 2100 tf of the K04.541.043.03 model, and also two sets the stamp blocks with capacity 12500 tf for stamping of "flanges" was signed after negotiations on December 17-18.

It will be the first press with capacity 12500 tf in Brazil! And this press will be the TMP brand name! Brazilians will receive in time the most reliable and advanced equipment of a world class which will bring them to the first place in Brazil on production of heavy forgings. It's also a very good confirmation of leading positions of TMP in the world market.
