Metal stamping – assessment of future production technology

As a whole sheet metal stamping preserve the leading position among other methods of the plastic metal working including processing of initial material in industrial scope and specific position of the sheet metal stamping equipment in general stock of the press-forging machinery.

The most precise methods of the sheets processing and their combinations will receive the priority development in the metal stamping production.

The crank machines having the maximum productivity, the best automation means and practically unlimited number of the metal stamping positions will constitute the base of the sheet metal stamping stock.

Parameters of the plastic forming defining velocity and machining quality in the most complex and responsible technological processes of the mass and large-scale production (deep drawing, metal stamping of the large-scale body parts etc.) are approximated to the limit values specified by the properties of the machined metal or deformed tool and possibilities of the kinematics diagrams of the used equipment.

Element-by-element decomposition of the production process: preliminary forming and bending of blanks before final metal stamping in combination with several operations reducing the technological load is preserved up today.

New technological processes of the sheet processing are widely practised in the sheet metal stamping production.

Such trends as electromagnetic and electrohydraulic-pulsating stamping, vibrostamping, deformation with application of pulsating load, press-free metal stamping methods, rotating drawing etc. are given an opportunity for renewal of the plastic metal working methods and means.
